It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Elites Beef Barley Corn. Barley or Beefy as he was lovingly called was born on August 13, 2011 to the Brindle Hill family. He was entrusted to the Vakiener family Thanksgiving weekend of 2011. It was love at first sight when we met his sweet, wrinkly, Brindle face. Barley loved playing ball, eating apples, sitting at the table like his humans, and having his ears rubbed by his daddy. Barley was the true American Gentleman, fiercely protecting his human mom during her pregnancys, warning those walking by the house that he was in charge, and sitting with his human brothers and other little kids as they play on the floor. He loved to snuggle and was always happy to share in your joy or provide comfort in your sadness. He was full of character and always made his humans smile. He will be furever missed by his loving family Andy, Kristin, Hank, & Auggie, his grandpawrents Robert and Carol Vakiener, his fur siblings Reggie, Lilo, and Jack and his very special Aunts and Uncles Chris and Eve, Kali & Tyler, and Kim and B as well as many other close family and friends. Barley is predeceased by his Uncle Ziggy and Aunt Maddie. Beefy boy we love you more than words can describe and we were honored to call you ours. Your memory and your love will forever live in our hearts. May the bridge bring you peace and comfort as reunite with Maddie.
